Who are we?
Zack Shavin's Land of Israel was established order to share our love of Israel with people from all backgrounds, faiths, and walks of life. Licensed by the Israel Ministry of Tourism and based in Jerusalem with over 25 years experience, Zack specializes in customized tours, offering total flexibility and personalized service in creating and executing tailor-made programs suited to your background, interests, and budget.
Personal approach
Since our first camel and jeep safaris into the rugged Sinai and Negev desert wilderness back in the 1970's, we have continually adapted ourselves to the ever changing needs of our clients by exploring new approaches and building unique programs for our guests. One thing has never changed: Our love and enthusiasm for the Land of Israel, and our personal approach to every person and every tour- whatever the length of the stay or size of the party.

About Zack Shavin
Zack Shavin was born in Miami, Florida and spent his early childhood there. His family was strongly rooted in the Bible and moved to Israel when Zack was a teenager, fulfilling the traditional belief in the return to Zion. Zack attended Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in biblical studies, archaeology, and education, as well as certification from the National Guides Institute. He subsequently taught natural history at the Sinai research center and led camel safaris into the Sinai desert. In 1976 Zack became professionally involved in tourism, organizing and leading a wide variety of tours. Zack is fluent in 4 languages and is currently working on his latest book Israel Revealed: The Meaning, Message, and Mystery. He writes and produces the popular radio series entitled “The Holy Land Revealed”.
