In the footsteps of Jesus without leaving home!
Have a biblical experience without leaving home! Journey in the footsteps of Jesus though Israel and the Land of the Bible- from Galilee to Jerusalem - using beautiful picture images of actual sites, Zack's personal reflections, biblical text & song.
Presented by Zack Shavin
Shalom! The Holy Land serves as living testimony to the greatness of God, to the truth of the Word that we find in the pages of the Bible. A biblical pilgrimage experience therefore, is the greatest of journeys. It is one that opens windows and doors, that has a beginning but no ending, that sets the heart on fire. It truly opens the eyes to the wonders of God. Indeed, to experience the Holy Land is to experience a spiritual renewal and real personal blessing. It has the power to transform the heart and spirit, to strengthen faith, to really impact one's life.
The workshop presentation is NOT a travelogue, but rather a reflective journey. The insights and visuals offered, not only deepen understanding of God's Word but bring the stories of the Bible alive and present them in "living color. For most people the workshop is the closest they will ever come to actually visiting the Holy Land and following in the footsteps of Jesus.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Shalom! Shalom! Zack Shavin
Seminar Presentation
Using slides of the biblical sites, maps, specially prepared handouts, and traditional Hebrew song, we will spend time together in an informal atmosphere, as Zack leads us in the footsteps of Abraham, Moses, and the stories of the Bible. We will journey with Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem and see the places where He spoke and performed miracles. We'll reflect on their meaning and message. We will even look at Jewish tradition and the profound light it sheds on the teachings of Jesus, as well as learn some Hebrew words and see how the biblical language literally breaks open the Word of God.
